Maggie Valley Festival Grounds
Maggie Valley is in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. The Festival Grounds is leased by the Town of Maggie Valley as a venue for events, festivals and more. Over the years the venue has hosted a wide range of events from arts & craft festivals to major concerts. The events themselves are produced by individuals and organizations and the Town leases the venue. The festival grounds features a large covered stage, bathrooms, concession building, electrical and water hook-ups, easy access and ample parking.
Caldwell Heritage Museum
The Caldwell Heritage Museum educates and preserves the history of Caldwell County for future generations through educational services and exhibits. After obtaining the last remaining building of Davenport College, the Caldwell Heritage Museum opened in 1991. Built in 1926, it housed the auditorium and music rooms. Today, the space is being utilized for a chronological history of Caldwell County, from pre-Colonial days until the present, through a series of exhibits.
Historical Association of Catawba County
The Catawba County Historical Association, Inc. is an educational institution dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the stories, objects, and places that document the rich heritage of Catawba County and its role in the development of the Western Piedmont of North Carolina.
Hart Square Village
Hart Square Foundation preserves cultural heritage through living traditions, both past and present. They celebrate the rich diversity of crafts, trades, and practices of our region. Hart Square Foundation is responsible for the continued historic preservation of the nation's largest collection of historic log cabins known as Hart Square Village.
Elizabeth Ellison Gallery
Elizabeth Ellison is an impressionistic painter, whose art expresses how she feels about living in the Smoky Mountains.
Elizabeth often uses some of the earth and sand from mountain streams in her paintings. She also frequently gathers and processes native Appalachian plants to make the handmade paper she uses.
